As locals, we eat here on a pretty regular basis. The crowd in the summer doesn't bother us as we just plan to enjoy a cocktail on the patio before dinner. Sometimes when there isn't a crowd, we still have a cocktail on the patio first anyways!! In my opinion, this is the best place to grab dinner in the area - and at the best prices too. Our favorites: white cheese curds, fish fry (get the half and half - with half broiled half beer battered), taco salad, prime rib, peel and eat shrimp (with Cajun rub - and for an extra dollar they'll peel your shrimp for you so you don't get smelly fingers!), burgers and chicken strips, spaghetti (Tuesday's only) - basically the majority of the items on the menu are great. Having eaten here probably around a hundred times, I cannot say I've had one single bad meal - that's pretty amazing!!!

We were staying at the Comfort Suites and wanted a good fish fry we were led here. It reminded us of our hometown bars! The place was busy but everyone was friendly our waitress seemed a little overwhelmed but it was busy. The fish fry was really good same as all of them back home so nothing out of the ordinary and the beer was cold.

If you're over by the Mississippi River, anywhere in the vicinity of Wyalusing State Park or the Marquette River Boat Casino, then check out this fine bar & grill on Hwy 35. A great place for a Friday fish fry or a Sunday morning bloody! If there is a game on, pull up a bar stool, grab a free bowl of popcorn, and enjoy your time at Spring Lake Inn.

This place is Great. I discovered this place several years ago merely by accident and have returned here many, many times as a result. This is about" locals" enjoying a "true" Wisconsin Style Supper Club experience. That's the draw..." locals" and very good food and drinks. This is the real deal folks! Your classic FRIDAY FISH FRY & SATURDAY PRIME RIB...all artery clogging and deliciously great food...did I mention the half pound Blue Cheese Burger topped with a visual melting of "Chunks" of Wisconsin Blu, grilled onion and a spread of fresh cooked sizzling bacon. Don't be in a hurry, have a cocktail, everything is cooked to order. Wait! Gota tell ya',"Fred Flintstone"( ya-ba da-ba doo) BBQ Prime Rib Beef Ribs arrive smokin' hot smothered in a sweet BBQ sauce and aromatic as hell! Get carnivorous and chew the bone! You can do that here. WOW!

We were headed up to Ferryville on the Harley and the aroma coming out to the road was enough to send us back for dinner. So glad we did. The outside patio was so relaxing while we sipped our super cheap and yummy rum and cokes waiting for a table. The prime rib is the best we ever had. The small cut was plenty for me. The medium cut is HUGE!!! Love the little relish tray! Such a great find. Something we don't find back in Chicago area too often

Very good Friday fish fry featuring locally caught Mississippi River catfish, lightly battered and perfectly fried as crispy bone-in steaks, not greasy at all, with a generous side of fries. A relish tray, slaw, and rolls round out the meal. Cod, in broiled and fried varieties, are also available, but recommend the local product.

I love this place! The atmosphere is relaxed and not fancy, but they have the best steaks. With your dinner you get a basket of rolls as well as a tray of vegetables and crackers. We ride up from Iowa specifically to eat here.

Went for the Friday fish fry. Disappointed that they were out of the catfish, but the cod was very good. Very lightly battered. Wife had hers broiled and loved it. Some of the staff were excellent; others, such as our server, spent the whole night looking harried. Would certainly return if in the area.

We asked people at Cabellas where to go for fish fry. Most said Angus, and I bet it's great. But some guy said "Spring Lake has the best fish fry: it's where the locals go." He was right. The food was good, atmosphere casual and lively. Brandy old fashioneds were stronger than they look. Fried cod was lightly battered and yummy with thick tartar sauce. My dinner companion wasn't as impressed by the catfish, which seemed a little dry and overdone. Maybe just an off night for the popular dish. Side note - I bravely tried the weird ham salad that came with the relish tray. So glad I did. Asked the waitress to bring more. Try it!

I'm torn between 4 or 5 stars. The fried cod was very good. Missed the Friday fish fry so had it on Saturday afternoon. Served with a side, coleslaw was great and homemade, and potato. The potatoe was ok, was bland, probably my only knock on it. Relish tray was cool, but not much I personally like on it. I had the locals tell me prime rib Saturday was amazing. My girlfriend was sad they didn't have malt vinegar, guess I didn't grow up on long John silver so it didn't bother me.

I've been coming here for years. Never a bad meal! The Friday night fish fry is outstanding. Great, attentive service. Try any of the options for fish. My favorite is half fried and half Cajun Broiled. Spotted Cow on Tap, or Leines. Keep up the great work!

My dad and brother really love the fish fry on fridays. Im not a fish person but they have a lot of other good choices on the menu for me. I got a plain vheeseburger and it was delivious. The bun makes or breaks a burger and this one was like the perfect consistancy. Service good. Atmosphere good. Good place for dinner when were up at our cabin. Love.
